In 2022, Mary was diagnosed with cancer in her left kidney, and the only cure was to remove it. For most people, living with one kidney is not an issue, and some people are even born with one kidney. Unfortunately, Mary has an unrelated, r a r e , g e n e t i c d i s o r d e r called Alport Syndrome, which damages the kidneys. Because of this, in the fall of 2025 she was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Disease, began dialysis, and entered the kidney transplant list at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Her doctors have told her that the best and healthiest treatment is a kidney transplant from a living donor. Unfortunately, Mary's family are not able to be kidney donors, so she has turned to the community for help. Mary and her family are asking to Share Her Story to Help Find a Living Kidney Donor with friends, family, organizations, and on social media. All medical testing and surgery are covered by Mary's health insurance at NO COST to YOU. For more information, and to learn more about Mary's story, please visit: www.MaryJNeedsAKidney.com, or contact Bob at: 908.797.9627. Thank you for your consideration. t h e d e l A W A r e v A l l e Y B e A d s o c I e t Y s p r I n g J e W e l r Y s A l e I s M A Y 2 !
