George Dwight Martin is an American former professional football player who spent his entire career as a defensive end in the NFL for the New York Giants from 1975 to 1988. In 1985, Martin became the NFL's all- time leader in touchdowns scored by a defensive lineman with five, and, in the following championship season, he became the league's career leader in touchdowns scored by a DL as a DL when he returned an interception for 78 yards and 6 points in a late season home game against the same Broncos team they defeated in the Super Bowl, a feat which Giant head coach Bill Parcells has called the "greatest football play I've ever seen." In 2004, he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame of New Jersey. Matt Hughes is a UFC Hall of Famer, inducted in 2010 for his legendary career as a dominant, two-time UFC Welterweight Champion known for his relentless wrestling and ground-and-pound, considered a pioneer who helped build the sport. He achieved significant success with multiple title defenses and memorable wins against top contenders like Royce Gracie and B.J. Penn, solidifying his status as one of MMA's all-time greats.
