We saw the town, like so many others, slowly fading, and felt a stirring to breathe life back into it, to create a space where community could gather. Life is much more than something that you have; it is something that you do. Life is what happens in the sticky dirt of a backyard while supper is on the stove, it's spent around a campfire made from hand-chopped wood, it's passed down in stories and notes from one generation to the next, it happens in the blink of an eye; and if you're lucky, life will reward you with time amongst those you've brought along through its travels. Built by family, Lost Goods & Gear is where you'll find a haven of timeless elegance by artisan makers. Debra and John wanted to give Belvidere a hideout that reflected a backdrop of their childhood, where the Poconos summers dripped along like the trout-filled pools of the Pequest River. Roam the halls, weather the fireside armchair, and come in to celebrate our collection of independent makers. We hope you'll leave fostering a community that values quality over quantity. Whether you're seeking the perfect cast iron skillet, a hand-built fly rod, or thoughtfully designed outerwear, Lost Goods & Gear invites you to explore a life of intention. Drop us a line, send an email, or swing by the store, at 415 Front Street in Belvidere (07823). Check us out online at: www. LostGoodsAndGear.com. We look forward to meeting you! Women aged 18 and older are invited to join NJWOMENSONG for the spring 2026 season. Choral experience is not necessary, and a brief vocal assessment will help to place you in your appropriate voice part. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:30 pm at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, beginning on January 14, 2026. NJWOMENSONG is a non-profit women's chorus that offers local women the opportunity to enrich their lives and the broader community by sharing music that uplifts and inspires. We sing in three and four part harmony, and our repertoire includes sacred, pop, traditional, Broadway and everything in between. Our Spring Concert is set for Saturday, May 30 at 3:00 pm at Flemington Presbyterian Church, with several other performances TBD. Vocal assessments will be available on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hunterdon Central Regional High School Choir Room. Other dates and times are available, so please call Executive Director Rose Nagy at: 908.720.0267 to make an appointment or for more details. You may also inquire at: njwomensong@gmail.com.
