Parents, Guardians, & Community Members – The Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is an advisory group of community members, parents, and teachers interested in assisting with implementing high quality preschool programs. The committee meets three, to four times throughout the school year to discuss needs, resources and plan workshops or events for families. If you would like to join the ECAC with Clinton Township School District at Spruce Run Preschool, please email Stephanie Silva-Rodrigues at: ssilva-rodrigues@ctsdnj.org. Patrick McGaheran School Hi! My name is Kelley Sarnelle and I am very excited to be joining the Patrick McGaheran team as a Special Education teacher. While this is my first year teaching in Clinton Township, this is my 13th year teaching. I graduated from Rowan University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and English with an endorsement in Special Education. In addition, I have my Masters Degree in Special Education, LDTC certification, and Supervisor certification. When not in school, I enjoy reading a good book and spending time in LBI or Disney with my two children and husband. I look forward to an amazing year at PMG! C L I N T O N T O W N S H I P S C H O O L N E W S This time of year always feels a bit celebratory, which is why we are excited to announce that Clinton Township School District is home to the 2025-2026 Hunterdon County Teacher of the Year! We are proud to officially announce that Caroline Mann has been selected from a field of great teachers to represent Hunterdon County. We are so incredibly proud of the work of all our educators. Being able to celebrate one of our own exemplifies the outstanding teaching and learning environment our teachers create. Listed below is an overview of Ms. Mann, but if your child is lucky enough to have her, you know all the great things she does for our students. – Sincerely, Dr. Melissa Stager, Ed.D Superintendent, CTSD A MESSAGE FROM DR. STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: Caroline Mann holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from the University of Delaware. Caroline has been a dedicated educator in the Clinton Township School District since 2005. Her experience spans special and general education math for grades 3-8, including support roles. Notably, she spearheaded the district's Sustainable NJ initiative as a Green Team Leader. In this capacity, Caroline empowered students to lead impactful projects like anti-idling campaigns and food waste studies, resulting in three schools achieving Bronze status and one progressing to Silver. Her work on food waste earned her a presentation opportunity at the ANJEE Conference, and she also helped to secure funding for a garden restoration. Beyond the classroom, Caroline has actively participated in school committees, served as an emergency responder, and chaperoned numerous events. A true leader, she embraces community connections and the partnership of all stakeholders to promote a positive school environment for all students by facilitating partnerships across classrooms, schools, and community organizations so that children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds within the district can affect positive changes within the school environment. She believes that students should have as many hands- on opportunities as possible to demonstrate their learning and apply their content knowledge. She is known for incorporating animals and the natural world into her engineering projects, which encompass cross- curricular connections. Caroline wants students to develop a problem-solving mindset and forge deeper content connections—not just memorize information—encouraging them to embrace mistakes and reach their full potential. Caroline Mann named 2025-2026 Hunterdon County Teacher of the Year Join us in celebrating her tremendous accomplishments and the start of a great scho ol year!
