A sure sign of Fall, the Flemington Area Food
Pantry's Empty Bowl lunch fundraiser
will be happening before you know it
on Friday, October 10 at the Pantry
from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. The $35

This year's list of soup providers contains
a mix of old favorites and new choices from:
Basil Bandwagon, 15 Landsdowne, Chick-fil-A, Chive and Thyme,
Cilantro Garden, Costco, The Kitchen of HMC, Maddalenas, Matt's
Red Rooster, Metropolitan Seafood, Nourish to Heal, Salad Basket,
ShopRite and Viva Mexico. Your take-out lunch selection will also provide
options for a mini sandwich, a dessert, a bottled water and a handcrafted bowl,
delivered right to the car.
Purchase your tickets online beforehand, then just drive up to the
Food Pantry, located across the parking lot from the Flemington WalMart.
A pottery sale will also be taking place nearby in the Walmart lot offering a
selection of home decor items or one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
"The Empty Bowl" is an annual drive-up lunch event which raises
funds to provide food and personal care items to income-qualified Hunterdon
County families who are food insecure. More than 80% of the Pantry's income
is derived from contributions of monetary donations and groceries. Find out
