Robinson c l i N T o N S u N r i S e r o T A r y T h A N k S T h e c o m m u N i T y f o r y o u r S u p p o r T The duckies were back in full force on Sunday, July 13th as the Clinton Sunrise Rotary once again hosted The Great Hunterdon Rubber Ducky Race on the South Branch of the Raritan River! This was our 36th year and the community did not disappoint in their support. It was a great year for the Rotary Club raising over $13,500 to support the charitable projects of Rotary in our community and around the world. Not only is it a fun day with hundreds of ducky fans crowding the Town of Clinton to watch the little rubber ducks go over the Falls, but it is a community day for all who donate as sponsors, prize donors and supporters. Rotary is proud to partner with these businesses and community agencies. Our Major Sponsors are: Gentlestone Wealth/Michelle Heide, Clinton and Unity Bank, Clinton. We especially thank them for their many years of continued support at this level; our Gold Sponsors are Berkshire Hathaway Fox and Roach; Courtyard Luxury Senior Living; Farmers Insurance of Flemington; Hunterdon Health; Kessler Rehabilitation Center; Rita's Ice; Weichert Realtors, Clinton. All have also provided wonderful continued support. The Clinton Town Police and South Branch Emergency Services are spectacular in their help to stage the race. We could not run this event without the help of the many volunteers that assist with pre-sales, setting-up tents, registering ducks, catching ducks in the river and the myriad other tasks it takes to make this event happen. This includes many individuals and groups such as the Single Volunteers of Hunterdon, the AT&T Pioneers with local friends and family. Thanks also to the Hunterdon Art Museum for allowing us to use their outdoor space for our festivities. We thank all those who contributed and our sponsors for their support of Rotary and commitment to the community that we all serve. Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million passionate individuals in 46,000+ clubs worldwide. We are both an international organization and a local community advocate made up of friends, leaders, and problem-solvers. We see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Together we lead change in our own backyards and across the world.
