According to bestselling author and poet, Mark Nepo, the heart is "the muscle by which we converse with the world". Through a continuous stream of flexing and relaxing, we experience life through the heart. The quality of this rhythmic pattern determines so much of our physical and psychological health. Learning to intentionally change the pattern of our heart's rhythm can actually change how we feel and perceive, and ultimately impact how we respond to and receive experiences in life. Our heart rate is also a form of expression or output. It communicates the state of our "ok-ness" to our brains, and also to others in our environment. Have you ever suddenly felt unexplainably anxious or stressed and realized you might be picking up someone else's "vibes"? We are often being impacted by the emotional and physiological states of others, and thus that is all the more reason we want to increase our ability to regulate ourselves in the face of adversity. HeartMath ® biofeedback technology offers a practical and effective way to transform stress and anxiety by achieving a state of 'coherence'. Coherence is the harmonious alignment of heart, mind, and emotions, leading to increased emotional regulation, improved cognitive function, and greater resilience. HeartMath ® technology is designed to be accessible and easy to integrate into daily life. Using simple sensors, the technology provides real-time feedback on your heart rhythms, allowing you to see how your thoughts and emotions directly impact your body. The data is presented in an easy-to-understand format, empowering you to take control of your well-being. Healing with Heart Counseling Services offers packages to help individuals familiarize themselves with HeartMath ® technology, its foundational principles, and some specific tools for inviting more coherence into your life. "I only deepen the wound of the world when I neglect to give thanks the heavy perfume of wild roses in early July and the song of crickets on summer humid nights..." ~ Ann Voskamp "My life, I realize suddenly, is July. Childhood is June, and old age is August, but here it is, July, and my life, this year, is July inside of July."
