Winnewald Day Camp, in the heart of Clinton Township, announces that it will open for the 2025 camp season on June 23 under the ownership of Bob Jones (59th*) and his wife Carol (49th*). This coming year's program will again include full sports offerings, fishing and nature field trips, electives, special events, etc. Winnewald is one happy camp! Environment/Facilities: Winnewald is located on thirty acres close to Routes 31 and 629. A running stream, well-maintained grounds, mature trees, heated swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis court, archery range, and athletic fields make it a desirable place for children to spend the summer. Staff: Our staff is selected to give your child the special attention and supervision necessary to promote a positive, safe, and enjoyable camp experience. Staff training in safety and working with children is ongoing. Camper to staff ratio is approximately seven-to-one. All potential staff members are personally interviewed and references verified. We are proud to announce our 2025 core leaders: Co-Directors Nick Cosimano (9th*) and Shannan Smith (28th*); Enrollment Director Sharon Mudoch (16th*); and Maintenance Director Dave Carbone (10th*).
