Admission is $25 per car/$5 walkers and bikers, and benefits the Tewksbury First Aid & Rescue Squad. The annual festival, a highly anticipated fall event in northern Hunterdon County, has been drawing crowds of approximately 3,000 people from Tewksbury and surrounding communities for an afternoon of food, music, shopping, free activities, and fun for 26 years. This family-friendly festival at scenic Christie Hoffman Farm Park is scheduled to include ten food trucks, 40+ antique and unique art/craft/gourmet food vendors, a silent auction, and two live bands. Local favorite Duke Band will perform a mix of classic rock and pop covers from 12:00-2:15 pm. From 2:45-5:00 pm, Jessie Bardwell & the Noble Brothers will bring a toe-tapping mix of country-rock to the stage. Back by popular demand for the third year is the pie baking contest (pre-registration required), where local amateur bakers will try to stop back-to-back festival pie baking champion Faith Black Ross from her third win in a row! Free activities include the Kids Zone, with a petting zoo and pony rides, games, and more; hayrides; fire trucks; an appearance by the New Jersey State Police Mounted Unit; a scheduled landing of the NorthStar medevac helicopter and Q&A with the crew (4:30 pm); and plenty of other fun activities! Free popcorn and cotton candy will be provided by area Scout troops. For an updated list of vendors and a schedule of events, to download a pie baking contest application, or for more information, see: www.TewksburyHarvestFest.com or visit us on Facebook at tewksburyharvestfestival.
