STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: Dear Clinton Township Community Members, Another school year is underway! We have welcomed new staff, invited parents and students to practice going to their classrooms, and even provided practice bus rides for our incoming kindergarten students at the Sneak Peek. We are ready for a productive and successful 2024-2025 School Y e a r a t C l i n t o n T o w n s h i p School District. Part of what makes CTSD so great is the support services we have like buses, teaching assistants, and lunch aides. At Spruce Run we are currently h o u s i n g t h e b u s i n g f o r H u n t e r d o n Educational Service Commission (ESC). Having them there not only generates revenue but also ensures our buses can be accessed quickly. As our preschool program expands we will have to help ESC find a new garage and lot at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. They are currently exploring options and we hope we can continue to partner with this school that serves all of Hunterdon County. Speaking of the Hunterdon ESC, it is currently taking applications for bus drivers. They have increased the pay and with the early morning and afternoon schedule it is a great job for someone who wants to support students and loves having evenings free and time during the day. Hunterdon ESC will waive the $2,125 training fee if you work for them as a school bus driver. For more information please c o n t a c t t h e E S C ' s H u m a n Resources Department at HR@ hunterdonesc.org. They would be happy to meet and discuss the position further. We are also looking for Substitute Teachers and Substitute Aides. When a teacher is out we want to ensure our students are fully supported. Having a kind, caring, and qualified individual in the classroom or assisting students helps us provide an excellent education. If you are interested in helping you can check out CTSDNJ.org and click on "employment opportunities". We would love to have you be a part of our community this school year! If you have additional questions you are welcome to reach out to our substitute coordinator at: cshaw@ ctsdnj.org. If you are already a parent in the community, we invite you to join the CTSD PTA or look into the Clinton Township School District Education Foundation. These great organizations help give our students access to learning experiences and programs that enrich the PK-8 experience. To find out more please go to: www.CTSD.org and click on the "Parents" tab. You can get access to not only these great organizations but also information that will help you navigate the school year if you have a child enrolled in the district. W e l o o k f o r w a r d t o i n t r o d u c i n g t h e community to new staff in our future communication and updating you on all the great things we do as a district. We can not thank you enough for all you do to support CTSD. Great Schools are a hallmark of a great community and there is no doubt that we live in a thriving and supportive community. – Sincerel y , Dr. M e l iss a Sta g e r, E d.
