The Society will be selling cleaned quality items, in working operation. Antiques, furniture, art work, chinaware, crystal, silver, housewares, garden items, costume jewelry and linens will be some of the available merchandise. Among the items that will not be sold are electronics older than 3 years, clothing, books and children's toys. Donations will be accepted on a limited basis by appointment only at the Carriage House on Saturday in August. Call 908-832-6734 to reserve a Donation Time Slot, get details regarding acceptable items and donation procedures. Leave your name and number; your phone call will be returned. All donations will be thoroughly inspected and non-accepted items must be retained by the donor. Please bring items readily visible for inspection, without extensive wrapping. Because of your support, we were able to raise over $2,000 toward our goal of sponsoring a service dog for a brain tumor patient! We had a tremendously successful open mic, and the Majors Band from Clinton Music Studios topped off an incredible evening. The Quarter Mile would not have been as successful without the backing of such a strong community, championed by a publication like CTNL.
