Tewksbury Township's highly anticipated biennial Tewksbury Barn Tour, co-sponsored by the Tewksbury Historical Society and Tewksbury Trail Association, will be held this year on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, rain or shine. There will be five barns on the tour offering a diverse display of country life in Tewksbury! Tickets can be purchased online through the Tewksbury Historical Society's website at: www.TewksburyHistory.net, and then click on the Barn Tour page. Advance tickets are $40 per person ages 12 and older; children under 12 are free. Tickets must be picked up the day of the event, along with a journal and tour road map, at the Tewksbury Historical Society Headquarters, 60 Water Street Mountainville (Lebanon), NJ 08833. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the tour, if available, and no later than 12:30 pm to allow enough time to complete the tour by 3:00 pm, at the THS Headquarters, at a cost of $50 per person. The Tewksbury Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to research, preserve and disseminate the rich history of the Township of Tewksbury. The Tewksbury Trail Association is devoted to supporting a vibrant equine community and preserving the rural atmosphere and natural beauty of Tewksbury Township. Members of the association work diligently to maintain and expand over 100 miles of riding trails. Rondello, MD, MPH, CEM has been named Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hunterdon Healthcare System ("Hunterdon Health") and the Hunterdon Medical Center. Dr. Rondello has served as a Trustee of Hunterdon Health since 2016. His prior leadership positions within the healthcare system have included Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Hunterdon Healthcare System and Hunterdon Medical Center Boards; Chair of the Quality, Safety, and Experience committee; Chair of the C o m p e n s a t i o n a n d P e r f o r m a n c e committee; and Vice Chair of the Enterprise Risk Management committee. Additionally, Dr. Rondello has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Hunterdon Healthcare Partners (HHP), Hunterdon's Independent Practice Association (IPA), since 2020. A Disaster Epidemiologist who has been deeply engaged in the nation's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Rondello serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Public Health and Emergency Management at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York where he has held multiple clinical, academic, and administrative roles over the past 20 years. Dr. Rondello was elected a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine in 2020 and earned the Certified Emergency Manager (CEMĀ®) credential of the International Association of Emergency Managers in 2013. Founded in 1946 and opened in 1953, Hunterdon Medical Center (HMC) is a 178-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital affiliated with the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. HMC's clinical excellence is reflected in its having been recently awarded a CMS 5-Star rating and eight consecutive Leapfrog A Safety Scores. Additionally, Hunterdon Medical Center recently earned its fourth consecutive Magnet hospital designation, joining less than 1% of U.S. hospitals who have been awarded this distinction.
