The Girl Scouts have had an exceptional year, reveling in outdoor adventures and fostering camaraderie among girls. Troops are thriving, with new ones forming and looking for leaders. From hiking trails to mastering outdoor skills, the Girl Scouts continue to empower young girls while embracing community, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all involved. N J w o m e N S o N g NJWOMENSONG is a non-profit women's chorus offering local women the opportunity to enrich their lives and the broader community by sharing music that uplifts and inspires. Join us for an afternoon of beautiful choral music on Saturday, June 15 at 4:00 pm at the Flemington United Methodist Church, 116 Main Street, Flemington. Our Spring Concert, entitled "Our World, Our Time," offers pieces of many genres from sacred to pop, reflecting hope and community. Our songs shine a light on love of nature, the value of family and the joy that music brings to our lives. Tickets are available in advance or at the door. Adult tickets are $15, and Seniors and Students are $10. Love singing? Women aged 18 and older are welcome to join NJWOMENSONG for the Fall 2024 Season! Choral experience isn't necessary, and a brief vocal assessment will help to place you in your appropriate voice part. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:30 pm. The camp is open to players grade K through (rising) 9th grade. Girls will be grouped according to grade level. All skill levels are welcome, including those with no prior experience! The camp will be held June 24-27 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am each day on the turf and grass fields of North Hunterdon High School. Cost is $115 per player. Each player will receive a camp t-shirt!
