BSA Troop 288 kicked off their spring camping
schedule last month with their annual cabin campout
at Camp Glen Gray, located on an 800 acre reserve in
the Ramapo Mountains near Mahwah. Started in 1917 as
a Boy Scout camp, Glen Gray is now part of the Bergen County
Parks system. The boys enjoyed a relaxing weekend of cooking,
board & card games and the Troop's annual tradition of racing
their nalgene bottles down the stream!
Scouts from Troop 288 also recently paid a visit
to Gravity Vault in Flemington for an evening of
bouldering, which tested their strength and dexterity
– and was a whole lot of fun!
In the spring and summer months, BSA Troop 288
meets outdoors in Lebanon on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm
and we welcome new members to join us! For more information
