The WCTT, established in 1975, has been a beacon of empowerment, community service, and friendship ever since. The WCTT has been at the forefront of community service initiatives. From organizing food drives for local pantries to supporting educational scholarships for deserving students, the club consistently strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Their selfless dedication to serving the community has earned them immense respect and admiration. Beyond their philanthropic endeavors, the WCTT fosters a strong sense of friendship and camaraderie among its members. Monthly general meetings, social gatherings and various recreational activities provide opportunities for women to connect, support, and inspire one another. The club serves as a support network, ensuring that no member feels alone in their journey. The WCTT meets as a member-wide group on the first Tuesday of the month December through June and then September through December. The exception is our September meeting which is the second Tuesday of the month, and is our Welcome Back Tea. There are no monthly membership meetings in July and August. Our meetings are held at the Oldwick Manor, behind the Oldwick Fire House in Oldwick, NJ. Meetings start at 9:00 am, for fellowship and fun, with our business meeting beginning at 9:30. Non-members are welcomed to attend a meeting. We often have a guest speaker and always have refreshments. Please stop by! Doorbell cameras are popular with homeowners looking to add extra security to their homes. If nothing else, they can serve as a deterrent to anyone looking to break in or otherwise damage your property. These devices have other advantages, too. Their live surveillance feature eliminates the need for you to screen hours of video to see what was happening while you were away or asleep. Motion triggered alerts allow you to see what is going on in real time. This way, you can: • Check in on your house while you're away. • Stop thieves from taking packages from your porch. • Screen people coming to your door before opening it. But, there are also disadvantages: • Frequent notifications from these devices can increase anxiety about safety for some people. • False notifications can lead other people to become dismissive of the alerts. • Unreliable internet connections can make these devices undependable, especially in areas with spotty internet service or during power outages. • Security flaws in their software make these devices vulnerable to being hacked. Hackers can not only gain access to the doorbell's camera and voice controls, but also to your Wi-Fi and all internet-connected devices. Violation of privacy is another major concern when it comes to doorbell cameras. Depending on how it is positioned, your video doorbell can capture the comings and goings of your neighbors without their consent. To avoid being accused of invasion of privacy, make sure your video doorbell and other outdoor security cameras are positioned in such a way that minimizes intrusion into your neighbors' private locations, like their front door or backyard. It's also a good idea to familiarize yourself and comply with local privacy regulations. When exercising your right to secure your property remember not to infringe on your neighbors' rights to privacy. – Vic Rotolo 502 U.S. 22 Lebanon, NJ 08833 908∙534∙7900 www.KearnsRotoloLaw.com Tony Kearns and Vic Rotolo Working Together to Protect What's Important to You "There are more fools in the world than there are people." ~ Heinrich Heine "I am of old and young, of the foolish as much as the wise." ~ Walt Whitman
