The Auxiliary welcomes members from various walks of life. What we have in common is a desire to make a difference and share our time and talents. Most volunteers say their greatest reward is the sense of personal fulfillment and the sense of fellowship that comes with exploring new interests and sharing new experiences with fellow Auxiliary members. With our fundraising, we have succeeded in helping to fund numerous programs and technological needs within the healthcare system. Mission Statement: The Hunterdon Health Auxiliary exists for charitable and educational purposes. Through fundraising and educational events, the Hunterdon Health Auxiliary promotes the health and welfare of the Hunterdon Health community. Some of Our Annual Events are: Sapphires & Sequins: is the Auxiliary's signature event. It is a "Girls' Night Out" encompassing a VIP experience, shopping, live auction, raffle, fashion show, fine food and wine. Each year, the beneficiaries will be determined by a vote of Auxiliary membership, with input on current need from the Hunterdon Health Foundation. Lunch & Learn: Twice a year, the Auxiliary and the Foundation invite the community to attend a complimentary meal and informative session. This helps to promote a connection between community members and the healthcare system, while presenting the opportunity to become an Auxiliary member. Lights of Love: This is an event that has been ongoing since 1986, which focuses on the light within each of us, by acknowledging the light in others. This year-long event supplies the Auxiliary with discretionary funds, which can be utilized within the healthcare system as the need arises. Each year on the first Wednesday in December, Lights of Love celebrates donations made throughout the year that honor or memorialize people who have touched our lives in a special way. Cookie Sale: Held on the second Wednesday in December, Auxiliary and community members bake holiday-themed cookies to be sold, with proceeds benefiting Briteside Adult Day Center. There are many roles for Auxiliary volunteers including support of events, a d m i n i s t r a t i o n , a n d c o m m u n i t y o u t r e a c h . I love where I live and work and am happy to share my years of experience with buyers and sellers so they can make the most informed decisions. The best advice I can offer is that having a LOCAL and EXPERIENCED Realtor as your trusted partner is critical, whether buying or selling… Experience Makes the Difference! Firsthand knowledge of the area and experience closing real estate transactions are the most valuable resources you want in your agent because a successful real estate transaction requires more than effective marketing and staging. I am uniquely qualified with over 20 years of experience: • Negotiating the contract price and terms • Resolving inspection issues • Assisting with the mortgage loan process I work with a limited number of clients at any given time to be sure I have enough time to dedicate to each client so please reach out as soon as possible if you are thinking of buying or selling in 2024... Sellers – so we can put together a marketing plan that will maximize the presentation of your home for the best return on your investment. Buyers – so we can put together your plan and make you as competitive as possible and ready to win in a multiple offer situation. – Lynn Porter, Realtor Your Neighbor and Local Experienced Realtor Living, Working & Volunteering in Hunterdon County since 1988 NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Award 2022 Cell:908-303-2783 Lynn@LynnPorterRealtor.com "With awareness comes responsibility and choice." ~ Amanda Lindhout
