STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: Dear Clinton Township Community Members, When entering this district, many people shared with me fond memories they had of Spruce Run School. A while back, Spruce Run students moved to PMG and the district housed PK-2 at PMG, grades 3-5 at RVS, and grades 6-8 at CTMS. Since then, we have rented Spruce Run to the Education Services Commission for bussing. And, as shared in last month's Newsletter, on January 3rd, we will officially open the doors to Spruce Run Preschool. We are excited to make even more memories for our youngest learners in the district. We will accept applications for the lottery to attend Spruce Run Preschool in March. If your child will be three years of age by October 1, 2024 and you live in the Clinton Township sending area, you can apply for a seat. For the 2024-2025 school year, we will service almost 100 three- and four-year old students. To be eligible for kindergarten during the 2024- 2025 school year, a child must be five years of age on or before October 1, 2024. We would like to invite parents of incoming kindergarten students to our Kindergarten Information Night on February 8, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Thank you! Kindergarten RoundUp Kindergarten Round-Up is now occurring for Patrick McGaheran School. A child must be five years of age on or before October 1, 2024 to be eligible for kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year. If you have a child who will be eligible for kindergarten next year, please notify our district as soon as possible by completing the Kindergarten Round-Up Survey online at https://bit.ly/PMG-RU24. PreSchool RoundUp Preschool Round-up is now occurring for Spruce Run Preschool. A child must be three years of age on or before October 1, 2024 to be eligible for the Preschool program. If you have a child who will be eligible for Preschool and would like to be entered into the lottery, please notify us as soon as possible by filling out the survey online at 2024-2025 Preschool Interest Form at: https://t.ly/X5dkc. Please note, there are limited numbers of seats available for our full day preschool program, and students will be selected through a virtual lottery drawing on March 28, 2024. Families who've expressed an interest in the program by completing this form are invited to attend the lottery drawing, which will be conducted via Zoom. Families are not required to be present. Those selected in the drawing will be notified by email. We would also like to invite parents of eligible preschoolers to an in-person Preschool Information night on February 8, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Spruce Run Preschool.
