BSA Troop 288 recently held their Fall Court
of Honor, where family and friends gathered
to celebrate the many achievements of
their Scouts. Nineteen Scouts earned rank
advancements and 162 merit badges were
awarded!
In late October, Scouts from
Troop 288 joined forces with
other local BSA service
units to run several
fun activity stations for area Cub Scouts
during Hunterdon Arrowhead District's
Yukon Trail Day at Round Valley Recreation
Area. The weather was perfect, and fun was
had by all Scouts, young and old
alike!
This year, as All Hallows Eve coincided
with a Troop meeting, Troop 288 Scouts took
the opportunity to participate in the Village
of Annandale trick-or-treating extravaganza
right on our doorstep, followed by our very
own Halloween parade!
In early November, Scouts from
Troop 288 joined
seven other local

Outdoor Center (formerly Round Valley
Y o u t h C e n t e r ) . T o g e t h e r , t h e S c o u t s

fire rings, building frames for stacking
firewood, and then hauling and stacking

many facilities available at Sauerland over
the years, and was happy to help pitch in
to tackle their "to do" list.
