On Wednesday, November 8, our middle school
students participated in their first Hawk Games!
The student body was split up into four different
teams. Each team consisted of 6th, 7th, and 8th
graders and students had opportunities to compete
in a variety of events to earn points for their team.
Students participated in a rock, paper, scissors relay,
mummy wrap, dizzy bat relay, balloon stomp, and other
mini-games. Each team worked collaboratively to try
and win each game. Students assisted with materials
for each event and kept score. We had a special guest
appearance from the CTMS Hawk who helped build
the energy in the room and cheered each team as
they competed. We look forward to holding other
Hawk Games as the year continues!

food drive is an easy way to unite students to make a
difference for our neighbors facing hunger. Filling up
a food drive box is a tangible way for kids to see
the impact of their efforts.
