We are grateful to him for all his incredible work," says Amy DeVita, President, Board of Trustees. "Muir's dedication and stewardship has elevated the Red Mill Museum Village to the premier echelon of New Jersey's greatest museums and as a special space for building community." The Red Mill Museum Village, an iconic and historic complex nestled in the heart of Clinton, and situated on ten acres of picturesque land, stands as a testament to Clinton's history and charm. At its center stands the 1810 Red Mill, a historic gem that has captured the imagination of visitors for generations. The museum complex also includes a schoolhouse, a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, all contributing to an immersive experience that brings history to life. "Paul took his passion for the Red Mill Museum Village, and shared it throughout Hunterdon County and well beyond, to all corners of New Jersey" says DeVita. "Now, our iconic Red Mill is one of the very first scenes of New Jersey to greet travelers when they land in Newark Liberty Airport. Additionally, he directed work and secured funding to get our site's buildings and grounds in optimal condition, allowing us to continue the mission to 'Preserve the Past, Educate the Present, and Inspire the Future' " We are very sad to see him leave, yet grateful that he set the museum up for future success. We wish him the very best with his new opportunity at another New Jersey nonprofit. We are currently working with the Personnel Committee to hire a new Executive Director" says Daniel Shea, Vice President, Board of Trustees. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson "Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity...it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." ~ Melody Beaie m E t a p h y S i C a l & S p r i i t u a l B l i S S – w h E r E g r E a t t h i n g S a w a i t !
