The Red Mill Museum Village, a beloved and iconic historic complex nestled in the heart of Clinton, New Jersey, is proud to announce the grand unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its latest addition: "The Pavilion." This monumental structure marks a significant step forward in the evolution of the Red Mill, enhancing its capacity to host a diverse range of events while preserving its rich historical legacy. Situated on ten acres of picturesque land, the Red Mill Museum Village stands as a testament to Clinton's history and charm. At its center stands the 1810 Red Mill, a historic gem that has captured the imagination of visitors for generations. The museum complex also includes a schoolhouse, a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, and a barn, all contributing to an immersive experience that brings history to life. At the heart of this evolution is "The Pavilion," a remarkable 80x40 structure nestled within the Mulligan Quarry, offering unparalleled views of Clinton's unique landscape. With the quarry's awe-inspiring limestone wall as its backdrop, The Pavilion presents an unrivaled setting for a variety of events. The addition of this space not only introduces a new chapter in the Red Mill's journey but also creates an exciting platform for growth and sustainability. The Red Mill Museum Village has joined hands with esteemed partners to create a seamless event experience under The Pavilion's roof. June Beri Events, a leading event and wedding planner, along with Eques Hospitality Group, a premier catering company, will collaborate to offer meticulously curated events. From weddings and corporate gatherings to intimate celebrations, The Pavilion is set to become a focal point for unforgettable moments. "We are thrilled to unveil The Pavilion, a space that pays homage to our history while opening doors to new possibilities," says Paul Muir, Director of the Red Mill Museum Village. "This addition not only enriches our event offerings but also reinforces our commitment to providing unparalleled experiences for our visitors. With anticipation soaring and interest piqued, we are delighted to announce that bookings for 2024 events are now open." The historic significance of the Red Mill Museum Village, often hailed as one of the nation's most photographed locations, adds a layer of grandeur to any event hosted here. Previously, couples would bring in tents to celebrate their weddings on this storied site. However, with The Pavilion's advent, the need for additional structures is eliminated, allowing events to unfold seamlessly, rain or shine. "We are witnessing history in the making as The RedMill becomes not only a premier event venue but also a historical event destination," notes John Creech, Chair of Clinton's Economic Development Committee. "Its impact on the local economy and community cannot be overstated, cementing its role as a treasured landmark."
