This is about my 18th year teaching, with all of my previous experience in Warren Township. I earned my bachelor's degree at Towson University in Education and my Master's degree from Walden University in Elementary Reading and Mathematics. As a member of this community, I have seen first hand how amazing the staff is and consider m y s e l f lucky to be a part of them. I know that while working together as a 4th grade team, we will deliver high quality education while still considering social-emotional growth. I strongly believe in creating SMART goals, and hope to teach my students to be reflective in their learning. But mostly, I am looking forward to working with the students and parents to create a comfortable learning environment where all students feel welcomed and challenged. I reside in Annandale with my wife, Rebecca, our daughter, Ava, along with two dogs and a rabbit. CTMS welcomes Nicholas McFarland as a Special Education/Physical Education teacher.
