At HOME of Somerset County, we are thrilled to kick off our calendar raffle fundraiser. This annual game of chance creates awareness and funds for our organization while giving players multiple chances to win cash prizes! The calendar raffle runs from November 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024. Three cash prizes will be awarded each week to lucky players. The winning tickets are reentered for the next drawing, making this three months of fun! Tickets are currently being sold through the office of HOME and cost only $10 each. HOME of Somerset County has been a pillar in the community for over thirty years. We assist families who are at risk of homelessness with diversified programming aimed at securing and maintaining h o u s i n g i n d e p e n d e n c e . O u r l a r g e b a s e o f c o m m u n i t y congregations offer emergency shelter and meals to families who have become unhoused. Staff and volunteers at HOME have developed a continuum of care that includes emergency solutions, transitional housing, financial literacy education, trauma-based counseling, and food security. S c h o l a r s h i p s a r e a l s o awarded to past recipients for continuing education in their field of choice. This year's recipients i n c l u d e C a i t l y n L y n c h , Jackie O'Neil and Ryan Thompson. Awards were presented by Scholarship Committee Chairperson Tricia Daly at the Garden Club's June meeting in Califon.
