United Way of Hunterdon County has been supporting our
community for more than thirty years to ensure that every
individual has the opportunity to thrive. Our focus is on helping ALICE
- the 23% of our neighbors who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained
and Employed (or retired).
How we help: ALICE takes many different forms - poverty
prevention programs, advocacy and collaborative efforts across
the community. Read more about our current work in the latest Community
Impact Report on our website and see where we are headed longer term in
our Long Range Plan. We hope you will join us in our efforts because we can't
build a stronger community alone! Great things happen when we LIVE
UNITED! Find out more about UWHC at: www.UWHunterdon.org.

The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects
shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies, and personal care
items-and delivers them to children in need around the world to
demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. For many of these children,
the gift-filled box is the first gift they have ever received. Anyone can pack a
shoebox. Individuals, families, churches, and groups fill empty shoeboxes with
school supplies, person care items, and fun toys, such as dolls or a soccer ball.
During National Collection Week (November 13-20, 2023) Samaritan's Purse
will collect the shoeboxes at more than 4500 drop offs. For more infrmation,
