STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: Dear Clinton Township Community Members, The end of the school year is always an exciting time for districts. In June, teachers say goodbye to their current students, and then by late August they are ready to greet a whole new class of learners. To make this transition smooth, there is a lot of planning that happens during the school year and a ton of work that happens during the summer. Our school office support, maintenance, administrative and custodial staff work long hours to make sure everything is organized and the school is in tip-top shape for when our students return on August 30th. Our teachers also take the time to set up their classroom and plan for a whole new year of learning. So while June has us honoring those who are retiring and saying goodbye to our 8th grade students, it also creates a time of reflection and opportunity. We look forward to sharing with you, in future issues, the names of the high school class of 2027, along with the new strategic planning and other exciting initiatives taking place during the 2023-2024 school year. – Sincerely, Dr. Melissa Stager, Ed.D Superintendent, CTSD The Clinton Township School District, in partnership with the community, achieves excellence for each child by ensuring a meaningful and challenging educational experience in a supportive environment; developing life-long learners who are responsible and productive citizens. • Wednesday, June 21, 2023 - Last Day of School • Wednesday, June 21, 2023 - 8th Grade Graduation Please see the District website for summer office hours. IMPORTANT DATES TO KEEP IN MIND THIS MONTH Congratulations to our retiring staff members!
