The Hunterdon County Quilting Guild is a 45-year-old
non-profit organization with a focus on community service
projects and continues its service today. These projects
include: pillowcases donated to local children's hospitals
and cancer centers, as well as quilts for Project Linus,
placemats for Meals on Wheels, bib/vests, wheelchair bags
and walker-pockets for veterans at Lyons Hospital and
quilts for nursing homes and the first baby born of each
new year at local hospitals. To date, through participation
in the Quilts of Valor Foundation, our Guild has awarded
over 300 quilts to combat veterans. The Guild's purpose
is the preservation and promotion of the quilting arts by
educating members through lectures and workshops. We
have our meetings at the Readington Reformed Church
at 124 Readington Road in Readington – we welcome new
members of any skill level and interest at our regular
meetings, as well as our Zoom meetings, workshops and
lectures! Check out our website for additional information,
and a schedule of meetings and events at: https://
