All details about performers and composers, online streaming, and musician videos, and more can be found at: www. RaritanRiverMusic.org. Laura Oltman, Co-Founding Director of Raritan River Music explains the "Tributes" theme, "We are the product of those who came before us, set the stage, laid the foundation for creating the music and culture of today. This year, we honor the founders of musical organizations that have been influential in our lives, providing the legacy upon which Raritan River Music has grown to become an integral part of the community." The festival will present internationally renowned ensembles and soloists in concert – live and in person, in addition to online video streaming provided by The Animal Farm music production studio. Performers include: The Bergamot String Quartet, The Four Nations Baroque Ensemble, The Mohawk Trail Piano Trio, Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo, and soloists Clare Hoffman, flute, Martha Mooke, electric viola, and Robert Bonfiglio, harmonica. Michael Newman, the other Founding Director of Raritan River Music adds, "We're proud that Raritan River Music continues to be a trendsetter, embracing and supporting the incredibly diverse artistic creators of today, as exemplified by the Afro-Cuban-born composer Tania León, whose music we presented at last year's festival and who is the winner of the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Music and a 2022 Kennedy Center Honoree. We'll also present music by the 2022 Pulitzer Prize winner, Raven Chacon, the Diné-American composer born within the Navajo Nation. We're thrilled to present these outstanding musicians who reflect the vast cultural wealth and diversity of America today." As Covid protocols continue to evolve, proof of vaccination is no longer required to attend Raritan River Music Festival concerts. Masks are no longer required, but are encouraged during concerts. All festival concerts take place inside historic venues in scenic settings throughout western New Jersey. The venues are fully accessible for people using wheelchairs and walkers.
