World Thinking Day is celebrated every year on February 22 by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides worldwide. Since 1926, it remains a day for all to think of each other and celebrate their sisters all around the world. • World Thinking Day was originated to dedicate a day to thinking about, and continuing to be inspired by the impact of our global movement. • World Thinking Day is a recognized day of international friendship. • World Thinking Day is an opportunity to take action and speak out on issues that affect young women. • World Thinking Day can make a difference by fundraising for all ten million Girl Scouts within 150 countries. • This year in 2023, our World Thinking Day theme will be… Our World, Our Peaceful Future! Service Unit 81 continues to plan for our very own event this month. We are excited to be together again in person, as this event is every other year and our last was hosted virtually. We will celebrate our troops' dedication and hard work, while exploring the world together. We are always looking for new members and parent volunteers!
