Sure, the spring home sales market is traditionally very busy… but
people buy homes all year long. A new job, for example, can set a motivated
buyer in search of a home with a very specific closing date. Winter home buyers
tend to be more serious and the inventory (i.e., your competition!) is typically
much less.
Here are top tips for getting your home ready for sale:
• Find the Right Realtor: You'll be working closely with this person, so be
sure to find one who suits your personality and your expectations.
• Price it Right: A perennial top tip, but with fewer buyers in the winter,
it is vital.
• Heat: Keep the house at a comfortable temperature to
welcome buyers in from the cold.
• Light the Way: Ensure that exterior and interior lights are on and set bright
enough for buyers who will visit after the early sunsets.
• Clean Up: Rake leaves, clear snow and ice from sidewalks, and provide a
clean pathway to the front door to ensure everyone's safety.
• Seasonal Photo: Provide your Realtor with a photo of the property from
spring or summer that shows off your landscaping in full-bloom.

Parents, paying for college is one of your largest investments, and I
am confident if you enroll in our comprehensive plan we could save
you thousands and thousands of dollars. How? First, finding the best
fit school for your student and family. We have an extremely low (almost non-
existent) number of our clients transfer! We also coach parents and students
on the financial end – helping find scholarships and also appeal financial award
letters. In addition, we empower students to take control of the entire process
from test prep to essay writing.
Most importantly, our mission is to empower and educate students
so they feel confident in taking every 'next step', not only towards
college, but beyond!
Currently, we are enrolling juniors until the end of February – seven
openings are still available. Sophomores and freshmen, please consider
hopping on board today to secure your spot. Our comprehensive plan fee is the
same no matter when you join, so the sooner you hop on board to start discussing
basics – careers, classes, time management, PSAT results, the better off and
less stress you will experience as a junior and senior! Call: 908.642.8509
