SBES is a community-based regional provider of Emergency Medical, Technical Rescue Services and Educational Training that acts with integrity, compassion, professionalism and empathy. Its team of 164 career and volunteer EMTs and rescue associates serve the town of Clinton, Clinton Township, High Bridge Borough, Lebanon Borough, Hampton Borough, Glen Gardner Borough and parts of Union Township, Franklin Township and Bethlehem Township. If you or a family member urgently needs medical care, rapid and safe hospital transit, or to be rescued from danger, you can count on SBES. Now SBES seeks support from the residents it serves. SBES responded to 4,543 calls in 2021 and went above and beyond to keep the community safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, but it resulted in unanticipated expenditures across the board. "SBES is not fully funded by municipal contributions or tax dollars. Financial assistance from community members – no matter the size - is needed in 2022 to ensure SBES's ability to maintain its strong level of response, preparedness and service delivery in the coming year," explained SBES Chief Frank Setnicky. It has enough lush forests, flowered fields, and sandy beaches. It has plenty of stars and the promise of a new sunrise and sunset every day. What the world needs more of is people to appreciate and enjoy it" ~ Michael Josephson
