After being required to cancel its 2020 tour due to Covid restrictions, the THS and the TAA are pleased to resume the tour on Sunday, July 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine. Six barns located throughout Tewksbury Township and the surrounding area will be welcoming visitors to enjoy their varied uses. Included are historic barns dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, plus property previously owned by renowned residents. Of special interest is a prominent parcel of land where an impressive professional facility has recently been built. Advance tickets are $30 until July 23 and $35 on the day of the Tour. Tickets for children ages 11-18 are $5 and children 10 and under are free both in-advance and on the day of the Tour. Advance tickets will not be mailed. t e W k S B u r y h I S t O r I c a l S O c I e t y c O l l e c t S d O n a t I O n S F O r l a B O r d a y W e e k e n d t a g S a l e The Tewksbury Historical Society will hold a Labor Day Weekend Tag Sale on Saturday, September 3, 8 AM - 4 PM at the Oldwick Carriage House, 5 James St., Oldwick, 08858. The Society will be selling cleaned quality items, in working operation. Antiques, furniture, art work, chinaware dishes, housewares, bric-brac, garden items, costume jewelry and linens will be among the available merchandise. Electronic items older than three years, books, clothing and children's toys will not be sold. Donations will be accepted on a limited basis by appointment only at the Carriage House on two Saturdays in August. Call 908- 832-6734 to reserve a Donation Time Slot, get details regarding acceptable items and donation procedures. Leave your name and number; your phone call will be returned. All donations will be thoroughly inspected and non- accepted items must be retained by the donor. Please bring items readily visible for inspection, without extensive wrapping. The Tewksbury Historical Society is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation, organized for the purpose of furthering research into, and the preservation and dissemination of, the history of the Township of Tewksbury. The Society requests donations of documents, records and small artifacts related to Tewksbury's History for its archives. Clinton Area Stage Troupe is thrilled to return to live theater this summer! CAST will present the musical Guys & Dolls on July 28 through 30 in the North Hunterdon High School theater. This award- winning comedy features high-stakes gamblers, led by Nathan Detroit (played by Tom Farber of High Bridge), set against a long-suffering fiancé (Dawn Cimilluca of Annandale), a police lieutenant (Vincent Angeline of Union Township), and a group of missionaries. When renowned gambler Sky Masterson (Andy Kapetanakis of Asbury) arrives for the next crap game, sparks fly between him and the leader of the Save A Soul Mission, Sarah Brown (Amanda Livesey of Whitehouse Station). The 32-member cast includes General Matilda Cartwright (Kathy Snow of Hampton), the colorful Nicely Nicely Johnson (Mike Waskiewicz of Annndale), Benny Southstreet (Bruce Cargill of Annandale), Harry the Horse (Ryan Apgar of Clinton), and infamous Big Jule (Bill LePore of Phillipsburg). Director Mary Meo of Clinton is assisted by Diane Lehnert, Linda Lauchaire, Katie Cudworth, Kristeen Lehnert, vocal director Kathy Snow, conductor Kateri Swaveley, and stage manager Ronna Hill. Performances are July 28 and July 29 at 7:00 pm and July 30 at 1:00 pm. The show is produced via special arrangements with Music Theatre International.
