This is unprecedented in the industry. Whereas many companies come and go very quickly, A&M continues to please thousands of customers due to their commitment to high quality workmanship, using only the highest quality materials. A&M Roofing does not cut corners. Your home is treated as if it were our own. Their skilled roofing and siding installers have years of experience in all types of material installation. They do not have a sales staff that will try to "twist your arm" into signing a contract or offering so called "sales" if you sign today. They send their trained technicians and project managers out to complete the estimate, not someone who's never stepped foot on a roof or worked on one. Contact A&M Roofing today for your free estimate by emailing: a-mroofing@earthlink.net, or calling: 908.638.8326. They look forward to working with you on your home improvement project! And YES... I live in Beaver Brook! 2022 is going to be YOUR BEST YEAR YET – I'll make sure of it! Dear Julie, Knowing your appreciation for reader feedback, allow us to share a few thoughts. We believe one should always be in touch with their instincts, a view you share as you "...try to never get political..." in your column. Sadly, the need arose to ignore the voice of your better angels in response to a higher calling. As a self-proclaimed 'centrist', a political aspect you felt the need to virtuously signal to your readers, there was but one who ran in 2020 on that bill of goods. That option made it easy for shamed white-guilt-ridden Kennedy- dems (of whom I too once laid claim till I learned to prioritize policies over personalities) to cast a vote against the despised orange threat. Now, amid inflationary chaos, the blatant campaign lies and corrupt investigations exposed, an Afghan debacle (a monumental foreign policy fail on the 20th anniversary of 911), across the board failings on the border, on crime-riddled streets, and in the schools (where our own CTBE has CRT on their menu), a buyer's remorse permeates with mea-culpas offered. Your writing communicates that message so clearly. You call for things to be 'fixed'... "FIXIT-FIXIT-FIXIT" your piece repeatedly clamors, echoing the anger, frustration, and disappointment with the disastrous consequences no one voted for. As a reminder, things were 'fixed' across the board going into 2020. We were energy independent, a booming economy, wages at record highs significantly benefitting women and minorities the most, the border crossings contained, crime rates stabilized, no inflation. Those who resisted the mass media's cool aid had no doubts as to what a woke socialist leaning administration would bring forth... and here we are. All those who pulled that 'centrist' lever now OWN all that has happened to-date (including the 100,000 overdose deaths decimating our youth of which I personally know of two in our own Township) and every disaster yet to be visited upon this nation in the remaining three years. No attempt to distance oneself from that fact, with frantic calls to a grossly incompetent administration to 'FIXIT', will have any bearing, despite the feel-good nature of the gesture. The real fixing will require individuals to awake to the necessity of being clear-eyed in their search for truth and being able to challenge the mob and main-stream propaganda... the fixing must start there at a grass-roots level. Only then will your message to FIXIT be heard by those in a position to act. We close with warm greetings to you and your for the Holidays. –Mr. & Mrs. DJ Fortugno Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fortugno, As always, I do appreciate our readers' input, and thank you for taking the time to convey your thoughts. That 'FIXIT' line was taken from a skit from the TV show Saturday Night Live. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned politics, but I'm just saying that I would like for ALL politicians, on BOTH sides, to work together to make our country work… it shouldn't be such a battle. – Sincerely, Julie Flynn, Editor Hi Julie, Your Editor's Column in the December 2021 issue really resonated with me. So well written. And WOW, Congrats on the 40-Year Anniversary! What an accomplishment! – BK letters to the editor
