Alliance is a regional leadership nonprofit that brings together a broad range
of New York and New Jersey community groups, businesses, individuals,
nonprofits in a diverse coalition of more than 1,100 Alliance Partners.
Founded in 2007, its mission is to inspire and work for resilient,

Saturday, November 13, 9:00 am-12:00 pm
at the Clinton Township Middle School, 34 Grayrock Road
ACCEPTED ITEMS: Clean, wearable clothing (men's, women's and
children's - any size/season), shoes, belts, handbags, hats, scarves, backpacks,
household linens (curtains, bedding, towels, pillows, sleeping bags), stuffed
animals, baby accessories. Donated toys must be able to fit into a 24" X 24"
box. We cannot accept the following items: CDs, DVDs, VCR, books,
electronics, home decor, appliances, exercise equipment, pots/pans, baby
gear, hard toys, board games.
Drive to the front entrance of the school and volunteers will unload
your donations for you. No need to even get out of your car! Please
have donations in well-tied plastic bags. Tax receipts are available. The
PTA earns money per pound of donated items. This is one of our biggest
fundraisers. Proceeds from this event support educational programs,
assemblies and other activities sponsored by the Clinton Township PTA.
Donations are NOT shredded. Items collected go to A&E Clothing, a
for-profit company that collects unwanted clothing and other items and
resells them in the U.S. and other countries. By providing such services to
non-profit organizations, they create jobs for people in the U.S. and abroad.
They help local communities and economies in emerging countries as well
as helping our country become greener and cleaner. Check out: www.
