The third week in October is designated as "School Violence Awareness Week". These weeks are designed to ensure that all students in our schools receive age appropriate instruction on respecting themselves and others. The theme of respect is instrumental in helping students to feel comfortable in our schools. Students learned that respect occurs when you listen to others, play fair, use good manners, wait your turn, compliment someone, pick up after yourself, and treat others in a positive manner. Being respectful is one of the key ingredients to being the best person you can be! These weeks we continue our focus upon RESPECT for ourselves, others and our environment. Another priority for the current school year is the health and safety of all members of our educational community and the community at large. October was National Principals Month! What is National Principals Month? "Through visionary leadership and tireless pursuit of success for each student, principals guide and support their schools in ways large and small every day. As we faced new challenges presented by COVID-19, our principals came through when it mattered most.
