The event will take place at the Zion Lutheran Church, Christian Education Building, 16 Miller Avenue, Oldwick, NJ with an Opening Reception on Friday evening, October 8. THS brings together the region's best fine artists and includes juried, small work, portfolio areas and photography. Jurors of the Show will be Oscar Peterson, Judge of Selection, and Dannielle Mick, Judge of Awards. Awards will be based on "Best in Show", "Best of Tewksbury", "Marion Katnack Memorial Award", plus first, second, third place and Honorable Mentions in each category. Juried Works submission deadline is September 17 and must be original to the show, not having been submitted to any other THS Juried Art Exhibition. Categories are Natural Environment, Animal Kingdom, Still Life/Interiors, Florals, Abstract/non-objective and Built Environment. Works completed in any two-dimensional media (including photography) may be submitted. No giclees allowed. Grateful Dogs food truck, 50/50 raffle and cash bar. The Eagles Tribute band Winslow performs the signature sounds of the Eagles' halcyon under the stars at the VFW in Glen Gardner. New Jersey natives, Steve Ratchen, Don Miller, Jack Scharnikow, Ernie Vitale, Brian Clayton and Arnold Valentino recreate the songs, music, vocals and the magic of one of America's greatest rock bands - the Eagles. Winslow's sound transports the audience back in time! This event is hosted by the Glen Gardner Women's Club. Food will be available for purchase from Grateful Dogs food truck. Alcoholic beverages will be available for sale through the VFW. Bring chairs and blankets for your own comfort. No outside food or drink.
