When
we
received
the
generous
grant
from
ExxonMobil,
we
had
our
vision,
and
it
took
a
team
to
bring
it
to
fruition.
I
want
to
thank
the
Windy
Acres
subcommittee
for
helping
me
and
the
Township
create
a
gem.
Patricia
Buriak
and
Doug
Picota
from
the
Environmental
Commission
guided
me
with
the
wooded
trail
development
to
ensure
environmental
guidelines
were
followed.
Patricia,
as
liaison
for
the
Environmental
Commission,
played
an
integral
role
in
communicating
between
the
committees.
Les
Giese
from
Open
Space
spearheaded
the
forestry
management
plan,
which
will
give
us
guidance
on
how
to
enhance
and
protect
the
habitat.
Mike
Aversa
from
Open
Space
oversaw
his
hunting
program
on
the
property,
which
is
a
crucial
part
of
the
property
health.
Andrew
Holt,
Chair
of
the
Environmental
Commission
provided
his
expertise
with
every
aspect
of
this
project.
Richard
Shaw,
Chair
of
Open
Space,
was
the
glue
that
held
all
of
this
together.
His
oversight
kept
all
of
us
organized
and
made
sure
we
covered
every
detail
efficiently.
I
would
also
like
to
thank
James
Switlyk
who
created
the
Cedar
and
Creekside
wooded
trails
with
me.
The
volunteers
on
this
project
are
a
perfect
example
of
committed
residents
who
tirelessly
donate
their
time
and
talents
for
the
residents
of
Clinton
Township.
We
are
all
fortunate
to
have
them
working
for
our
community.
Thank
you,
Councilwoman
Amy
Switlyk

You!
