More people buying and fewer people selling has caused home prices to escalate. However, with a vaccine on the horizon, more homeowners will be putting their houses on the market. This will better balance supply with demand and slow down the rapid appreciation. That's why major organizations in the housing industry are calling for much more moderate home appreciation next year. Here are the most recent forecasts for 2021: *National Association of Realtors: 4.5% *Freddie Mac: 2.6% *Fannie Mae: 2.1% Source KCM Real Estate Blog Call Clinton Township resident Joseph Tersigni, Sales Associate at Weichert Realtors at: 908.735.8140, or email: joseph@jerseyhomz.com. This year, those feelings may be exacerbated by the continued pandemic and unsettling news from the world around us. • Know that you are not alone, and there are things that you can try to help you cope. • Having a sense of routine can help you feel in control, so try creating a schedule for your week with time allotted for anxiety reducing activities such as exercise, mindfulness and fun hobbies. • Create a list of projects you've been putting off and schedule them in—your feelings of accomplishment at tackling tasks will help you feel more satisfied. • Practice positive thinking by actively spending time each day reflecting on things in your life that bring you happiness or things for which you are grateful. • Schedule time for reaching out to friends and family to help reduce feelings of isolation. • Your mental health is important, so consider talking to your healthcare provider about any concerning feelings you have. We will all get through this together. "Life is the flower for which love is the honey." ~ Victor Hugo
