T h e event features high- quality, low-cost winter clothing, coats, footwear and accessories. Each week during the month, the nonprofit shop, at 51 County Road 635 (Charlestown Road) in Hampton, will hold a different sale at the Clearance event. For February 1 - 6, shoppers who spend $50 or more will get 50% off their whole purchase. For February 7 - 13, all items at the event will cost $5 or less, including designer items. Also during February, the shop will hold a Valentine's Day Sale of a variety of jewelry sets, at only $7 per set. The sets include brand-new necklaces, earrings and bracelets. This month, the shop offers a Valentine's Day coupon, and shoppers can get up to 12 stamps on the coupon to earn rewards at the end of the month. They can get a stamp on their coupon each day that they spend $10 or more. Everyone must wear face masks and follow safety protocols. The shop is run by Clinton United Methodist Church and all proceeds support the church's missions and ministries. New volunteers are always welcome. The shop thanks all those who donated blankets to its "Be the Hope, Spread the Love" holiday drive! The 40 blankets collected were delivered to seniors in assisted living on the day before Christmas and the seniors were very happy to receive them! For its latest mission, the shop is partnering with Soles4Souls and holding a Shoe Drive, hoping to collect over 5000 shoes to help others in less- developed countries. Donated shoes in any condition, for any season, and in all sizes, can be dropped off at the shop during shop hours. Donations of clean, good-quality clothing and home goods are being accepted in a contact- free process and BY APPOINTMENT ONLY by calling the shop at 908.735.0177. For details of this process, visit the shop's Facebook page or its website at: www.SentForOthers.org. In February, the shop is looking for donations of shoes, jewelry, St. Patrick's Day items, books, spring clothing and spring items, kitchenware and items for outdoor activities and gardening. No donations will be accepted from February 21 through February 27, while the floor is being prepared for the Spring Sale event. Shop hours are Monday, 8:30 am to noon, Wednesday, 8:30 am to noon and 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
