Come join our Stream Safari and explore the farm's spring-fed stream to learn about the creatures who live there and why they're vital to our ecosystem. Eco-Woods Adventure on the Farm teaches kids how to identify trees, learn about endangered wildlife and even create their own ecosystem with a take-home terrarium. The Geocaching Treasure Hunt is a real-world, outdoor game open. Using a GPS, map, and compass, students will explore the farm in search of hidden caches, while learning more about our natural world and how to navigate. Nature in the Arts offers two short courses on printmaking and paper sculpture, using natural objects like flowers and leaves to create beautiful artwork. Beezbuzz: The Magic of Pollination explores the anatomy of flowers and bees, nature's greatest pollinator, and what a picnic without pollinators would be like! The farm is located at 14 Allerton Road in Clinton Township (Lebanon mailing address). The fee for these two-hour classes is $5.00 per person to cover materials (except Stream Safari which is offered at no charge.) Registration is mandatory.
