Hunterdon County's housing market is off the charts! WORD'S
OUT! HUNTERDON COUNTY is an amazing place to live. It offers
plenty of open space, great schools, parks and recreation, and yes - it's
close to NYC.
I don't need to tell the HC residents, but you must be asking,
"Where are all these buyers coming from?" Last Sunday, I sat at an
open house, somewhat off the beaten path, and was amazed at where the
potential buyers were coming from: Secaucus, Denville, Manville, Wayne,
to name a few. It's not uncommon to see NY plates driving through our
very own downtown Clinton on a Wednesday night.
Hunterdon county has become the IT place to live! The problem
is we have somewhat of a shortage of inventory and too many buyers! Not
a bad problem to have if you are selling. The result is that we're seeing
multiple offers on most homes that are move in ready and priced right!
Though multiple offers are becoming the norm; it can be somewhat
tricky negotiating them. While this may sound amazing to a seller, there
is always a fine line with making decisions on what is the best offer. An
experienced agent can help outline the pros and cons of each
offer.
