T h E H a u n t E d R E d M i l l h A S B E E N P O S T P O N E D U N T I L 2 0 2 1 After much deliberation the Haunted Red Mill Committee and Red Mill Museum Village Board of Trustees sadly must announce that the 2020 30th Anniversary Edition of the Haunted Red Mill will be postponed until 2021. This decision was made as we look to provide a safe environment for our Haunted Red Mill guests, and for all of our 75 plus volunteers and staff who work so hard to make the event so spectacular. The Haunted Red Mill has survived hurricanes, flooding and even snowmageddon, but in light of the current spread of COVID-19 we must take the protection of all involved with the event very seriously. Our event committee and all the volunteers work all year long, pouring their heart and soul into this event to make sure it provides the greatest thrill for everyone. October of 2021 will bring the greatest Haunted Red Mill production of all time as we celebrate 30 YEARS OF FEARS! Continue to follow our social media channels for updates and behind-the-scenes action. The Haunted Red Mill is the largest fundraiser for the Red Mill Museum Village representing 25% of the annual operating budget raising over $100,000 annually. These proceeds are used to preserve our historic buildings including the iconic Red Mill as well as provide funding for educational school tours and family programming throughout the year. If you have attended the Haunted Red Mill in past years and are in the position to contribute to the museum you will be helping to preserve the Red Mill and our eleven other historic buildings, provide school tours, and continue with both virtual and live family programming.
