for free online resources, at home activities and all things library. While our branches
are closed at this time, we will still be working to provide you and your family with
services that you can access from the comfort of your home.
TUMBLEBOOKS: TumbleBooks' databases are easy to use and feature unlimited
access from home! Your patrons can read as many books as they want, when they
want, and on any device. There are no check-outs, holds, or bulky downloads.
Books are available instantly.
STORYTIMES: Storytimes are a great way to introduce young children to language
and social skills, books, and the pleasures of reading.
TEEN RESOURCE CENTER: Visit the Teen Resource Center with the Remote

ADULT SPRING READING CLUB: In an effort to take your mind off the Corona
Virus worries, HCL has added a special Adult Spring Reading Club. While we all
stay at home, we can do some armchair travel around the country.
HUNTERDON COUNTY LIBRARY POETRY CONTEST: To celebrate
National Poetry Month, HCL is having a poetry contest through April 30. Judging
will be done by staff members; scoring will be 1-10. Poems may be in any format
and should be no more than 20 lines; each entrant may submit one poem. Poems
must be the original, individual work of the entrant. Please keep the content
appropriate for viewers of all ages. Winners will be announced May 1. Citispot will
be providing a $10 gift card and two $5 gift cards to award the winners. A special
thanks to Citispot's owner Mark Zhutianli, for his support of HCL! Please submit

HERITAGE QUEST: The New Jersey State Library has negotiated at home access
of HeritageQuest for New Jersey residents without a library card. This access will
be in place for as long as the current COVID-19 situation exists. Please contact the
Adult Services Department at 908-788-1434 or reference@hclibrary.us to receive
the password.

make better purchasing decisions. Whether a user is looking to find the best deal
on an LCD TV or researching the top-recommended used vehicles, Consumer
Reports provides ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for
thousands of products and services. Available within Headquarters, North County
Branch, and South County Branch libraries. Available from home with Hunterdon
County library card.
