How is COVID-19 affecting the college search and application process? Well, we do know certain admissions tests have been pulled in some locations (think SAT, and ACT). My former colleagues at The College Board have been asked to work from home. Many University and College Campuses have sent students home for the rest of the term, and some have even cancelled their graduations (don't worry, you will still get your diploma, just continue doing the work!). It looks like many high school students and their families will need to shift their college visits around as they are no longer giving tours/admissions talks on many campuses. For an up to date list visit visit my FACEBOOK page (Next Step Advising, LLC). So, what can you do? Keep studying. Make lemonade out of the lemons that life throws at you. There is free online test prep - start prepping. Take a virtual tour of the college campus NOW. Have a ZOOM consult with me and ask any questions you might have - my Class of 2021 comprehensive package plan is SOLD OUT, but I do have my comprehensive "ZOOM-ONLY" package available with the option to sign up for an in-person August Application and Essay week-long boot camp. If you would like a consult for this package, please click on my 'book online' tab (www.NextStepAdvising.com) and pick a date for a ZOOM consult. The fee is $208, but can be deducted from the package plan if/when you sign up!
