It is time for the Newcomers Club of
North Hunterdon's 14th Annual "Bring
The Heat" Chili Cook-off on Saturday,
June 13! Come and join us for a fun-filled day
of tasting chili, listening to music, enjoying the
tricky tray and voting for your favorites.
If you'd like to be a contestant: there
are two categories: Individual and Restaurant.
Any type of chili is eligible (meat, vegetarian,
chicken, turkey, with beans, without beans,
etc.) Pull out your best recipe and enter!
Individuals can win cash prizes; restaurants will be
awarded a plaque for "Best Chili in Hunterdon County". There are "People's
Choice" awards in both categories as well.
Tasting tickets may be purchased in advance for $12; visit www.
BringTheHeat.org – or pay $15 at the door (children 12 and under
free!). Come and vote for your favorites! This fundraising event is held at
the Clinton First Aid Squad, indoors, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Tasting lasts

For our April General meeting on Thursday, April 9, the
Newcomers Club of North Hunterdon has invited The Paint Party to
instruct us on painting our own personalized wine glasses. There is a fee
of $35 for two wine glasses and all supplies are included. The meeting will
begin at 6:30 pm at a location to be determined; light refreshments will
