For years, a glut of homes for sale depressed sale prices. The time needed to sell every Hunterdon home on the market climbed as high as 21 months after the financial market collapse in October 2008. In contrast, this number dipped to 7.6 in July 2012, its lowest point since 2006. This better balance between supply and demand has stabilized prices. This trend should continue into 2013, making this the best year for Clinton Township real estate since 2005. Graphs of local activity are posted at: HomesMarketPulse.com.
