The Honorable Janice Kovach, Mayor of the Town of Clinton, presented a proclamation honoring the Woman's Club on its 90th Anniversary. Organized in 1922, the club continues to initiate and participate in a wide spectrum of services for our community and is also involved in charitable projects statewide and internationally. The Club awards scholarships to Voorhees and North Hunterdon High School seniors seeking to pursue degrees in the medical field, participates in the Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for the Red Mill and purchases and fills Christmas stockings for our troops serving overseas. The Club also supports Family Promise, a national organization that includes the Interfaith Hospitality Network and Heifers International. President Carol Masek says, "To serve as president of the Woman's Club of Clinton has given me the opportunity to work with a group of dedicated and caring women, committed to carry on the tradition of service to the community."
