Swimming pool projects take a lot of time! Fiberglass pools generally
take 3-4 weeks for installation and gunite pools can take 10-14 weeks,
depending on the details of the project. But, before construction can begin
there is design, property survey, engineering and permitting work
that needs to be done. All of that work can easily add another 4-8 weeks to
the timeline. Clinton Township has very specific requirements for pool projects
that we can guide you through. So if you want to be swimming this summer
you need to start planning now. Don't wait until spring to start the process!
What types of pools does Cirrus Pools build? We build both gunite
(concrete) and fiberglass pools. Gunite pools are completely customizable for
the size, shape and depth. There are limitless choices for tile and plaster color.
They tend to be more expensive than fiberglass pools and take longer to build.
With a fiberglass pool you are choosing a predetermined shape, size and color.
Fiberglass pools are easier to maintain than gunite pools and the installation
is much quicker. You can still add lighting, automatic covers and salt systems
to fiberglass pools. For those reasons, fiberglass pools are becoming more and
more popular here in New Jersey.
How do I know which pool is a better choice for me? There are
pros and cons with each type of pool and we are happy to discuss each of them
