North Hunterdon Lions Basketball Club, a feeder program for North Hunterdon High School, is pleased to announce its 2019 Boys and Girls Basketball Summer Camps! This fun and instructive basketball program is run by the North Hunterdon High School head coaches and their coaching staffs along with the assistance of the varsity players. These camps are open to all players in the North Hunterdon High School sending districts: Clinton Township, Town of Clinton, Lebanon, Bethlehem, Union, Franklin Township. Registration forms are now available online at: www.nhlbc.net. The camp schedules are as follows: GIRLS CAMP: June 24-27, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Grades 4 - 9 (as of Fall 2019). BOYS CAMP: July 15-18, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Grades 5 - 9 (as of Fall 2019). LOCATION for both camps: North Hunterdon High School Main Gym. PRICE: $150/person (Includes camp T-shirt and prizes!) The event includes the very popular tasting of up to 100 heirloom and hybrid varieties of beefsteak, plum, cherry and grape tomatoes! The Open House features include demonstration gardens of deer tolerant ornamentals, hazelnuts, and hollies from the Rutgers breeding programs. Other highlights include tastings of basil, fruit and more! Wagon tours of the farm's research plots will be held throughout the event along with educational displays from various organizations. Rutgers NJAES staff and Master Gardener volunteers will be available to provide information and answer your gardening questions.
