The North Hunterdon Newcomers Club has invited Laura Kinney, a certified financial coach, to present a mini workshop on The Seven Baby Steps to Financial Freedom based on Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University. Laura, along with her husband Jim, a Certified Financial Planner, started Financial Pathway Advisors in Bridgewater in 2007. He has been working as a fee only financial planner since 2004. (This program was originally scheduled in February but was rescheduled for May due to the weather.) Seeing a need beyond traditional investment management and retirement planning, Financial Pathways began offering financial coaching services (in addition to traditional financial planning) in 2017. Financial coaching addresses the needs of individuals and families who may not be a good fit for traditional financial planning, but who still need expert (and unbiased) financial guidance and advice. Both Jim and Laura received financial coach training and certification from financial radio personality and author Dave Ramsey. As financial coaches, they help people work toward financial peace, utilizing Dave's now famous seven baby steps. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this "Free" informative meeting Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 pm at the Clinton Rescue Squad, second floor meeting room. Sponsored by the North Hunterdon Newcomers Club. The Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad is located in Clinton on Route 173, across from the old A&P.
