The Good News Home for Women is accepting registration for its 11th Annual
golf tournament fundraiser which will be held on Monday, May 20 at Beaver
Brook Country Club in Annandale. The Flemington rehabilitation facility
is a spiritually focused residential substance abuse treatment center that accepts
women 18 years of age and older regardless of race, religion or ability to pay. The
tournament is one of three major fundraisers held each year.
Rain or shine, the outing begins with a continental breakfast and a putting
contest at 8:00am. The shotgun start will be at 9:00am. The tournament will be
in "Best Ball" format with a delicious Italian Buffet for lunch. There will be an
awards ceremony and raffles following. During the awards luncheon there will be
testimonies from several Good News Home residents about their journey towards
recovery. The cost is $175 per golfer, $250 per golfer for presidential
foursome. You can purchase tickets online at www.golf4GNH.com or
contact Robin Jackson at: 908.806.7913, ext. 326, or email: robin@
goodnewshome.net.
The Good News Home for Women has been home to hundreds of women
who have walked through our doors desperate, lonely and broken. They come
from all walks of life since no one is immune to the disease of addiction and the
heartache it brings to the afflicted and their family and friends as well. We are one
of a small number of women-only residential rehabilitation centers in the state.
